Travel Information
Travel Reimbursement Procedures
Travel expenses will be paid by SCI. All non-UVa participants are required to complete an online reimbursement form. Please contact Stephanie Crooks with any questions.
After making your travel arrangements, please send a copy of your itinerary to Stephanie Crooks. Be sure to save your boarding passes and all original receipts. Once you arrive at the Institute, you will receive a travel packet with additional information on how to submit your reimbursement request. Please be aware that University policy on reimbursements has changed such that requests must be submitted within 30 days of travel.
Hotel
All participants requiring hotel arrangements should fill out the registry form no later than June 14, 2010. Attendees will stay at the Omni Charlottesville Hotel, conveniently located in Charlottesville’s historic downtown district. Stephanie Crooks will make all reservations and arrangements.

Dining
All meals during the Institute will be provided for you, and we promise that you will eat very well. Please let us know about any special dietary requirements by filling out the registry form as soon as possible.
Getting to Charlottesville
By plane:
Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport is the closest airport to the University of Virginia.
If you need to be picked up from the airport, please contact Stephanie Crooks. Rides to and from the airport will be provided by Van on the Go.
By train:
Train service to and from Charlottesville is provided by Amtrak.
If you need to be picked up from the train station, please contact Stephanie Crooks. Rides to and from the train station will be provided by Van on the Go.
By car:
